27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Subsection (g) of Section 2 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws, as so |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3following sentence:- |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, nothing in this chapter shall |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5be construed to allow a person to discharge or cause to be discharged or to otherwise discipline |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6or in any manner discriminate against any employee or candidate for employment for the reason |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7that said employee or candidate for employment is a user of medical marijuana outside of the |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8workplace. |
