An Act relative to maintaining independent authority over nursing licensure in the
Commonwealth.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 14 of chapter 13 of the General Laws is hereby amended by
2inserting the following paragraph:-
3 (l) maintain independent oversight of the practice and licensure of nursing in the
4Commonwealth.
5 SECTION 2. Section 14 of said chapter 13 is hereby further amended by striking out in
6paragraph (j) the word “and”.
7 SECTION 3. Section 14 of said chapter 13 is hereby further amended by striking out in
8paragraph (k) “.” and inserting in place thereof the following:- ; and
