2626 An Act requiring menstrual products in buildings on public higher education campuses.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 27 the
3030 2following section:-
3131 3 Section 27A. Each public institution of higher education shall provide disposable
3232 4menstrual products to menstruating individuals in the restrooms of any such institution’s building
3333 5at no cost. The disposable menstrual products shall be available in a convenient manner that does
3434 6not stigmatize the individual seeking such products. For the purposes of this section “disposable
3535 7menstrual products” shall mean products including, but not limited to, tampons, sanitary napkins,
3636 8and underwear liners.
