The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act assisting with higher education recordkeeping responsibilities. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 31A of chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “exist”, in line 57, the following 3words:-, provided that the board may approve an institution’s proposal to rely on blockchain or 4distributed ledger technology to maintain said records.
