2626 An Act relative to accessibility at gas stations.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Office
3030 2on Disability is hereby directed and authorized to conduct a comprehensive study to investigate
3131 3accessibility to gas pumps at gas stations. Said study shall include, but not be limited to,
3232 4compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act’s assistance at self-service gas station
3333 5guidelines. The Office on Disability shall provide an opportunity for interested parties to submit
3434 6relevant testimony. The Office on Disability shall file a report of its study, including
3535 7recommendations and drafts of any legislation, if necessary, with the clerks of the Senate and
3636 8House of Representatives within one year of the effective date of this act.
