27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

29 | 29 | | 1 Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Office |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2on Disability is hereby directed and authorized to conduct a comprehensive study to investigate |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3accessibility to gas pumps at gas stations. Said study shall include, but not be limited to, |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act’s assistance at self-service gas station |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5guidelines. The Office on Disability shall provide an opportunity for interested parties to submit |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6relevant testimony. The Office on Disability shall file a report of its study, including |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7recommendations and drafts of any legislation, if necessary, with the clerks of the Senate and |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8House of Representatives within one year of the effective date of this act. |
