| 34 | 34 | | 1 Section 1: Notwithstanding the definition of “moderate income housing” set forth in the |

| 35 | 35 | | 2fifteenth paragraph of section 2 of chapter 44B of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Town of |

| 36 | 36 | | 3Chatham, upon recommendation of its community preservation committee, may appropriate and |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 4expend community preservation funds for purposes of community housing for those persons and |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 5families whose annual income is less than 200 per cent of the area-wide median income. |
