2828 An Act relative to annoying telephone calls.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 269 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after
3232 2section 14B the following section:-
3333 3 Section 14C. Whoever allows his telephone to be used by another to telephone a person
3434 4or his family, repeatedly, for the sole purpose of harassing, annoying or molesting that other
3535 5person or his family or for the purpose of repeatedly using indecent or obscene language to that
3636 6person or his family, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for
3737 7not more than 3 months, or both.
