assaults upon persons with disabilities. The Judiciary.

An Act relative to the protection of persons with disabilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 265 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby 
2amended by inserting after section 22C, the following new section:
3 Section 22D. Whoever has sexual intercourse or unnatural sexual intercourse with a 
4person with disability, as defined in section 13K, and compels such a person with disability to 
5submit by force and against his or her will or compels such a person with disability to submit by 
6threat of bodily injury, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for life or for any 
7terms of years. A prosecution commenced under this section shall neither be continued without a 
8finding nor placed on file.
