| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 1 Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2amended by inserting after section 9K the following section:- |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3 Section 9L. Any contract or agreement which creates or establishes the terms of a |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4partnership, employment, or any other form of professional relationship with a physician |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5assistant registered to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to section 9E which includes any |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6restriction of the right of such physician assistant to practice as a physician assistant in any |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7geographical area for any period of time after the termination of such partnership, employment |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8or professional relationship shall be void and unenforceable with respect to said restriction. |

| 37 | 37 | | 9Nothing in this section shall render void or unenforceable any other provision of any such |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10contract or agreement. |
