| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, the Secretary of |

| 31 | 31 | | 2the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) shall direct the Commissioners of |

| 32 | 32 | | 3the Department of Mental Health (DMH), the Department of Youth Services (DYS), the |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Public Health (DPH), and the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5Department of Personnel Administration, to update the official Job Classification Specifications |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6to include Licensed Mental Health Counselors(LMHCs) and Licensed Supervised Mental Health |

| 36 | 36 | | 7Counselors (LSMHCs) to the full extent of their scopes’ of practice. |
