| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 118E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after |

| 32 | 32 | | 3 Section 13M. To the extent permitted under federal law, spouses shall be authorized to |

| 33 | 33 | | 4serve as paid caregivers in the MassHealth program for the provision of certain home-based care |

| 36 | 36 | | 7amendment or waiver application, as may be required, to implement this act no later than 6 |
