28 | 28 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 118E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after |
---|
31 | 31 | | 2section 13L the following section:- |
---|
32 | 32 | | 3 Section 13M. To the extent permitted under federal law, spouses shall be authorized to |
---|
33 | 33 | | 4serve as paid caregivers in the MassHealth program for the provision of certain home-based care |
---|
34 | 34 | | 5and services. |
---|
35 | 35 | | 6 SECTION 2. The executive office of health and human services shall file a state plan |
---|
36 | 36 | | 7amendment or waiver application, as may be required, to implement this act no later than 6 |
---|
37 | 37 | | 8months following the effective date of this act. |
