| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 51 of chapter 111 is hereby amended by adding at the end of the first paragraph, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2the following new sentence:- |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3 “If any licensed facility is unable to provide the services required by said license, |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4requiring the diversion or temporary pause in service of patients on three or more occasions in an |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5calendar year, the Department shall immediately convene a public hearing in the community |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6served by said facility and shall, at the Department’s sole discretion, consider corrective actions, |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7including but not limited to revocation of said facility’s license.” |
