An Act defining further a legislative body.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 7 of Chapter 4 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end of subsection Eighteenth B in the 
3definition of “Legislative Body,” the following sentence:- The legislative body for retirement 
4boards shall be the retirement board itself for those matters over which it has independent 
5control.
