3131 An Act relative to collective bargaining.
3232 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3333 of the same, as follows:
3434 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 150E of the general laws is hereby amended by
3535 2deleting from the first sentence of the definition of “employee” the words “…and the officers
3636 3and employees within the departments of the state secretary, state treasurer, state auditor and
3737 4attorney general.”
3838 5 Section 1 of chapter 150E of the general laws is hereby further amended by adding a new
3939 6sentence at the end of the definition of “employer” to read “In the case of employees of the state
4040 7secretary, state treasurer, state auditor and attorney general, the employer shall be the state
4141 8secretary, state treasurer, state auditor and attorney general respectively.”
