2929 An Act relative to employees of the Department of Fire Services.
3030 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3131 of the same, as follows:
3232 1 SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016
3333 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 330, after the word “affairs” the
3434 3following words:- , full time employees of the department of fire services in the executive office
3535 4of public safety and security, provided they have previously been full time members of a fire
3636 5department of any city, town, fire district, Devens, the 104th Fighter Wing Fire Department or
3737 6the Massachusetts Military Reservation Fire Department, for ten years of more, and had
3838 7previously been classified in group 4.
3939 8 SECTION 2. Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 20146
4040 9Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in lines 331 and 332 after the word “marshal” in 2 of 2
4141 10each instance, the following words:- "deputy state fire marshal and the director of the training
4242 11division"
