[Local Approval Received.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act directing the City of Boston Police Department to waive the maximum age requirement for police officers for Wilfrid Decossa. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 1. 2 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, including the provisions of 3Chapter 43 of the Acts of 2007, the City of Boston Police Department shall waive the maximum 4age requirement for original appointment of police officers for Wilfrid Decossa. If Wilfrid 5Decossa meets all other requirements set forth by the Boston Police Department, he shall be 6eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of police officer. 7 Section 2. 8 The provisions of this act shall take effect immediately upon passage.
