29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
31 | 31 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, and in order to promote the |
---|
32 | 32 | | 2public good, the State Board of Retirement shall credit James Wright, an employee of the Town |
---|
33 | 33 | | 3of Sharon, with full-time creditable service for his employment service already so rendered from |
---|
34 | 34 | | 4February 1, 1990 to February 28, 1992 to the 104th Fighter Wing Fire Department for the |
---|
35 | 35 | | 5purpose of determining a retirement allowance under Chapter 32 of the General Laws. James |
---|
36 | 36 | | 6Wright must satisfy all other applicable eligibility requirements for a retirement allowance as set |
---|
37 | 37 | | 7forth in Chapter 32 of the General Laws, and under the rules and regulations of the State Board |
---|
38 | 38 | | 8of Retirement. |
---|
39 | 39 | | 9 Eligibility for this creditable service shall be conditioned upon payment by James Wright |
---|
40 | 40 | | 10to the Massachusetts State Retirement System of an amount equal to the retirement contributions 2 of 2 |
---|
41 | 41 | | 11that would have been deducted under said Chapter 32 if he had received regular compensation |
---|
42 | 42 | | 12during this entire period at a full-time annual rate based on the annual rate of regular |
---|
43 | 43 | | 13compensation that he was receiving, plus buy back interest thereon. Such repayment shall be |
---|
44 | 44 | | 14made in one lump sum or in installments under terms and conditions as the State Retirement |
---|
45 | 45 | | 15Board shall prescribe. Any such payments must be completed prior to the effective date of any |
---|
46 | 46 | | 16retirement allowance requested. |
---|
