| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the state retirement board |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2shall credit Stephen Gerald Roche with creditable service for the period of June 15, 1978 to April |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 31, 1979, inclusive, for the purpose of determining his superannuation retirement allowance under |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4paragraph (a) of subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws. Before the date |

| 33 | 33 | | 5that any retirement allowance becomes effective for Stephen Gerald Roche, he shall pay into the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6annuity savings fund of the state retirement system in 1 sum or installments, upon such terms and |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7conditions as the board may prescribe, an amount equal to that which would have been withheld |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8as regular deductions from his regular compensation for such previous service, plus interest. |
