2626 An Act relative to creditable service for Stephen Gerald Roche.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the state retirement board
3030 2shall credit Stephen Gerald Roche with creditable service for the period of June 15, 1978 to April
3131 31, 1979, inclusive, for the purpose of determining his superannuation retirement allowance under
3232 4paragraph (a) of subdivision (2) of section 5 of chapter 32 of the General Laws. Before the date
3333 5that any retirement allowance becomes effective for Stephen Gerald Roche, he shall pay into the
3434 6annuity savings fund of the state retirement system in 1 sum or installments, upon such terms and
3535 7conditions as the board may prescribe, an amount equal to that which would have been withheld
3636 8as regular deductions from his regular compensation for such previous service, plus interest.
