2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any laws to the contrary, taxable income consisting of
2929 2short-term capital gains, as defined in Section 1 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, shall be
3030 3taxed at the rate of 5 percent.
