An Act relative to lowering the sales tax to 5%.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per 
3cent”.
4 SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 64I of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 
5Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per 
6cent”.
