An Act relative to the sales tax on the purchase of a vehicle that is 25 years or older.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 64H of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
2 Section 35. The sales tax, under section 2, on the purchase of a vehicle 25 years or older
3shall be based on the sale price of the purchased vehicle; provided however, that the buyer shall
4have another vehicle registered in the buyer’s name used for purposes of daily transportation
5purposes.
