2929 An Act extending the Special Commission Relative to the Seal & Motto of the Commonwealth.
3030 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3131 of the same, as follows:
3232 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 2 of the resolves of 2020 is hereby amended by inserting, in line
3333 224, after the word “governor” the following: “provided, however, that the commission may
3434 3submit an interim report or interim reports detailing the progress of the commission.”
3535 4 SECTION 2. Section 89 of chapter 102 of the acts of 2021, as amended by section 11 of
3636 5chapter 22 of the acts of 2022, is hereby further amended by striking out the words “December
3737 631, 2022,” both times they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following
3838 7words: November 15, 2023.
3939 8 SECTION 3. Section 1 and 2 shall take effect on December 31, 2022.
