[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 3175 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to the state property zoning exemption. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 4 of chapter 7C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is 2hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- 3 Notwithstanding section 3 of chapter 40A, or any other general or special law to the 4contrary, the division of capital asset management and maintenance shall not approve any 5building project which is also a public-private agreement unless said project shall be subject to 6local zoning ordinances; and provided, further, that the division shall not approve any building 7project which is also a public-private agreement if such project will result in the issuance of a 8bond.
