2626 An Act to enhance cooperative purchasing opportunities for cities and towns.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 30B of the General Laws is hereby amended by
3030 2inserting after the first paragraph, the following paragraph: -
3131 3 Notwithstanding the provisions of any other section of this Chapter, public procurement
3232 4units that conduct a cooperative purchasing agreement may award contracts to multiple offerors
3333 5through a request for proposals if their chief procurement officer determines that doing so is in
3434 6the best interests of the parties to the cooperative purchasing agreement.
