| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 30B Section 1 (b) of the General Laws is hereby amended by |

| 31 | 31 | | 2inserting the following subsection - |

| 32 | 32 | | 3 (35) any contracts or agreements to repair, purchase or commission artistic services, |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4works of art, public art, and/or artifacts of a unique or intrinsic artistic character. |

| 34 | 34 | | 5 SECTION 2. Chapter 30B Section 2 of the General Laws is hereby amended by |

| 36 | 36 | | 7 Artistic services (i) Services provided by an individual or group of individuals who |

| 37 | 37 | | 8profess and practice a skill in the artistic disciplines such as but not limited to the visual arts, |

| 38 | 38 | | 9literary arts, performing arts, craft-based arts, traditional arts, textile/fiber arts, design, 2 of 2 |
