34 | 34 | | 3 "Native American" as defined in the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation |

35 | 35 | | 4Act in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 3001 et seq. |

36 | 36 | | 5 "funerary objects" as defined in the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation |

37 | 37 | | 6Act in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 3001 et seq. |
---|
38 | 38 | | 7 "sacred objects" as defined in the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation |
---|
39 | 39 | | 8Act in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 3001 et seq. 2 of 2 |
---|
40 | 40 | | 9 "objects of cultural patrimony" as defined in the Native American Graves Protection and |
---|
41 | 41 | | 10Repatriation Act in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 3001 et seq. |

42 | 42 | | 11 SECTION 2. The penalties and requirements of the Native American Graves Protection |

43 | 43 | | 12and Repatriation Act in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 3001 et seq. shall be enforced if an agency, |

44 | 44 | | 13organization, entity, or department receiving funds of any kind from the Commonwealth or any |

45 | 45 | | 14local government therein; or a trust, unincorporated association, nonprofit corporation organized |
---|
46 | 46 | | 15under Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General laws or public charity duly registered with the |
---|
47 | 47 | | 16Office of the Attorney General moves to deacquisition any Native American funerary objects, |
---|
48 | 48 | | 17human remains, sacred objects, or objects of cultural patrimony. |
