An Act relative to fare equity.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. 
2 Chapter 161A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 52, the 
3following:- 
4 Section 53. Fare Equity 
5 The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is hereby required to designate all 
6commuter rail stations in the city of Boston as Zone 1A to promote fare equity for commuters in 
7the city of Boston.
