2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay
3030 2Transportation Authority and regional transit authorities organized under chapter 161B of the
3131 3General Laws shall not charge riders a fare for rapid transit, bus, and trolleybus service along
3232 4fixed routes on the day of a biennial state primary or biennial state general election.
