An Act designating a certain bridge in the town of Falmouth as the Deputy John Robert Kotfila
Jr. memorial bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 The bridge located on the southbound side of state highway route 28 spanning state
2highway route 151 in the town of Falmouth shall be designated and known as the Deputy John
3Robert Kotfila, Jr. memorial bridge, in memory of John Robert Kotfila, Jr., a Falmouth native
4who was killed in the line of duty while serving as a deputy sheriff in the Hillsborough county
5sheriff’s office deputy sheriff in the state of Florida. The Massachusetts Department of
6Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the bridge bearing such designation
7in compliance with the standards of the department
