| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 303F of chapter 94 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph: - |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3 “Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, a vendor using a bulk sale delivery |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4system equipped with the capability of issuing an electronic receipt, ticket or other recorded |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5representation for a bulk sale may give a purchaser the option to receive any information |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6required under this section through electronic means, such as a cellular telephone, a computer or |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7e-mail, in lieu of or in addition to a paper delivery ticket. If the purchaser opts to receive |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8information electronically, the vendor shall obtain the purchaser's consent in writing, which may |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9be through electronic means.” |

| 38 | 38 | | 10 SECTION 2. Section 1 shall apply to purchases thereof, entered into on or after January |

| 39 | 39 | | 111, 2023. |
