An Act clarifying the existing pipefitting exemption.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 87 of chapter 146 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, 
2is hereby amended by inserting, in line 12, after the word "employed" the following words:
3 "nor shall such provisions apply to such pipefitting performed by a person in the employ 
4of a contractor or subcontractor, retained by one of the above organizations, for any work 
5required on the organization's premises or property."
