An Act to promote equity among lessors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Chapter 112 Section 87DDD1/2, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, 
2is hereby amended by adding the following sentence: - This fee shall only be paid by the lessor 
3of the residential dwelling and cannot be transferred to or paid by any other party.
