3030 An Act authorizing the town of Chesterfield to continue the employment of reserve special
3131 police officer Greg Smith.
3232 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3333 of the same, as follows:
3434 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Greg Smith, a
3535 2member of the Chesterfield police department, may continue to serve as a reserve special police
3636 3officer until he reaches 70 years of age or the date of his retirement or until his non-
3737 4reappointment, whichever occurs first, and no further deduction shall be made from the regular
3838 5compensation of Greg Smith in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension
3939 6purposes pursuant to chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to Greg Smith
4040 7reaching the age of 65.
4141 8 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
