| 32 | 32 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

| 33 | 33 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 34 | 34 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Greg Smith, a |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 2member of the Chesterfield police department, may continue to serve as a reserve special police |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 3officer until he reaches 70 years of age or the date of his retirement or until his non- |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 4reappointment, whichever occurs first, and no further deduction shall be made from the regular |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 5compensation of Greg Smith in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 6purposes pursuant to chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to Greg Smith |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 7reaching the age of 65. |

| 41 | 41 | | 8 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
