1515 An Act relative to the rate of payment for certain MassHealth ground ambulance services.
1616 Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
1717 require MassHealth ground ambulance services provided to fee-for-service and managed care
1818 plan members who are also Medicare eligible to be paid at the Medicare rate, therefore it is
1919 hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
2020 convenience.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2222 of the same, as follows:
2323 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all ambulance
2424 2ground transportation provided to MassHealth fee-for-service and managed care plan members
2525 3who are also Medicare eligible shall be paid at the applicable Medicare rate.
