15	15	An Act relative to the rate of payment for certain MassHealth ground ambulance services.
16	16	Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
17	17	require MassHealth ground ambulance services provided to fee-for-service and managed care
18	18	plan members who are also Medicare eligible to be paid at the Medicare rate, therefore it is
19	19	hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
20	20	convenience.
21	21	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
22	22	of the same, as follows:
23	23	1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all ambulance
24	24	2ground transportation provided to MassHealth fee-for-service and managed care plan members
25	25	3who are also Medicare eligible shall be paid at the applicable Medicare rate.
