2929 An Act authorizing the town of Nantucket to convey certain land situated in the town of

3131 Land Bank for the purposes pursuant to its legislation.
3232 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3333 of the same, as follows:
3434 1 Section 1. Pursuant to Article 97 of the Amendments to the Constitution of the
3535 2Commonwealth of Massachusetts and notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special
3636 3law to the contrary, the Town of Nantucket may transfer, sell, convey or otherwise dispose of all
3737 4or portions of certain parcels of land situated in the Town of Nantucket to the Nantucket Islands
3838 5Land Bank for the purposes pursuant to its enabling legislation, and described as follows:

5656 23conveyance or dedication of a parcel or parcels of Town-owned land for purposes pursuant to
5757 24Article 97, all as shown on a map filed with the Office of the Town Clerk.
5858 25 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
