| 21 | 21 | | Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to |

| 22 | 22 | | honor the memory of Trooper Tamar A. Bucci, therefore it is hereby declared to be an |

| 23 | 23 | | emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience. |

| 24 | 24 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 26 | 26 | | 1 SECTION 1. The overpass identified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 2as bridge number S-27-008 on Marble Street located in the town of Stoneham shall be designated |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 3and known as the State Trooper Tamar A. Bucci Memorial Bridge in honor of Massachusetts |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 4State Trooper Tamar A. Bucci. The division of highways in the Massachusetts Department of |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 5Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 6with the standards of the division. |

| 32 | 32 | | 7 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
