2020 An Act allowing electronic delivery receipts for certain bulk sale customers.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2222 of the same, as follows:
2323 1 SECTION 1. Section 303F of chapter 94 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022
2424 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the word “time”, in line 16, and inserting in
2525 3place thereof the following: - “time; provided, however, a vendor using a bulk sale delivery
2626 4system equipped with the capability of issuing an electronic receipt, ticket or other recorded
2727 5representation for a bulk sale may give a purchaser the option to receive any information
2828 6required under this section through electronic means in lieu of or in addition to a paper delivery
2929 7ticket. If the purchaser opts to receive such information electronically, the vendor shall obtain the
3030 8purchaser's consent in writing.”
