| 32 | 32 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 33 | 33 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 2contrary regulating the maximum age of applicants for appointment as firefighter, Derek Clark of |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 3the City of Haverhill, shall be eligible for appointment to the position of firefighter in the City if |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 4he meets all other requirements, in which case he shall be eligible for certification and |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 5appointment to the fire department of the City of Haverhill. To be effective for the 2023 |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 6firefighter examination results. |
