2828 An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Anthony Fannoh, Jr. an employee of the Department of
2929 Mental Health.
3030 Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
3131 establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the department of mental health,
3232 therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation
3333 of the public convenience.
3434 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3535 of the same, as follows:
3636 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of mental
3737 2health shall establish a sick leave bank for Anthony D. Fannoh, Jr, an employee of the
3838 3department at the Worcester recovery center and hospital. Any employee of the department may
3939 4voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by
4040 5Anthony D. Fannoh, Jr. If Anthony D. Fannoh, Jr terminates employment with the department or
4141 6requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time in the sick leave bank shall be
4242 7transferred to the extended illness leave bank. Sick leave bank days shall not be used for
4343 8absences unrelated to the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the sick leave
4444 9bank as determined by the department.
