27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
29 | 29 | | 1 Subsection (b) of section 7 of chapter 175M of the General Laws, as so appearing, is |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3sentence:- The costs of administering the department under this chapter shall be paid from the |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4trust fund and in each fiscal year shall not exceed 5 per cent of the amount remaining in the fund |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5at the end of the previous fiscal year; provided that, regardless of the trust fund balance at the |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6end of a fiscal year, in no fiscal year shall the amount available to the director for administering |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7the department decrease by more than 5 per cent from the previous year. |
