1919 An Act requiring the relocation of the Cambridge District Court.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2121 of the same, as follows:
2222 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the court
2323 2administrator of the executive office of the trial court shall, not later than December 31, 2024,
2424 3relocate the Cambridge district court, also known as the third district court of eastern Middlesex,
2525 4from the city of Medford to the city of Cambridge.
2626 5 SECTION 2. Within 90 days of the effective date of this act, the executive office of the
2727 6trial court shall file a report with the clerks of the house of representatives and senate and the
2828 7chairs of the joint committee on the judiciary outlining the timeline for the relocation of the
2929 8Cambridge district court.
