20 | 20 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

21 | 21 | | of the same, as follows: |

22 | 22 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the court |
---|
23 | 23 | | 2administrator of the executive office of the trial court shall, not later than December 31, 2024, |
---|
24 | 24 | | 3relocate the Cambridge district court, also known as the third district court of eastern Middlesex, |
---|
25 | 25 | | 4from the city of Medford to the city of Cambridge. |

26 | 26 | | 5 SECTION 2. Within 90 days of the effective date of this act, the executive office of the |

27 | 27 | | 6trial court shall file a report with the clerks of the house of representatives and senate and the |
---|
28 | 28 | | 7chairs of the joint committee on the judiciary outlining the timeline for the relocation of the |
---|
29 | 29 | | 8Cambridge district court. |
