1919 An Act relative to nonprofit board member compensation.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2121 of the same, as follows:
2222 1 SECTION 1. Section 85W of chapter 231 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022
2323 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in lines 2-3, the words “ compensation, other
2424 3than reimbursement for actual expenses” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-
2525 4compensation (other than reimbursement or allowance for expenses actually incurred” or any
2626 5other thing of value in lieu of compensation not in excess of $500 per year.
2727 6 SECTION 2. Said section 85W of said chapter 231 of the General Laws, as so appearing,
2828 7is hereby further amended by striking, in line 7, the word “his” and inserting in place thereof the
2929 8following word:- their.
