2626 An Act requiring immunizations against preventable diseases.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 15 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022
3030 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the first paragraph and inserting in place
3131 3thereof the following paragraph:-
3232 4 No child shall, except as hereinafter provided, be admitted to school except upon
3333 5presentation of a physician's certificate that the child has been successfully immunized against:
3434 6(a) diphtheria, (b) pertussis, (c) tetanus, (d) measles, (e) poliomyelitis, (f) human papilloma virus,
3535 7(g) hepatitis A, according to the schedule and dosage recommended by the centers for disease
3636 8control, and (h) such other communicable diseases as may be specified from time to time by the
3737 9department of public health.
3838 10 SECTION 2. Said section 15 of said chapter 76, as so appearing, is hereby further
3939 11amended by adding the following sentence: - The department of public health shall promulgate
4040 12regulations to implement this section.
