1919 An Act providing for the terms of certain bonds to be issued by the Commonwealth.
2020 Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
2121 provide for the terms of certain bonds to be issued by the commonwealth, therefore it is hereby
2222 declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
2323 convenience.
2424 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2525 of the same, as follows:
2626 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the bonds that the state
2727 2treasurer may issue pursuant to section 11 of chapter 89 of the acts of 2024 shall be issued for a
2828 3term not to exceed 30 years. All such bonds shall be payable not later than June 30, 2059, as
2929 4recommended by the governor in a message to the general court dated May 9, 2024 under section
3030 53 of Article LXII of the Amendments to the Constitution.
