The committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, to whom 
were referred the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2382) of 
David K. Muradian, Jr., relative to firearm dealer licensing; and the 
petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2392) of David Allen Robertson 
relative to the return of firearms stored at private businesses, reports 
recommending that the accompanying order (House, No. 4903) ought to 
be adopted.

1 Ordered, That the committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security be authorized to 
2sit during a recess of the General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents 
3numbered 2382 and 2392, relative to firearms and firearm dealer licensing.
4 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study 
5and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such 
6recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives 
7on or before December 31, 2024.
