32 | 32 | | 2the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding, in line 30, after the word |

34 | 34 | | 4 and the use of automatic external defibrillators. Instruction in cardiopulmonary |

35 | 35 | | 5resuscitation and the use of automatic external defibrillators must be the most current national |

36 | 36 | | 6evidence−based Emergency Cardiovascular Care guidelines and incorporate psychomotor skills |

37 | 37 | | 7development into the instruction. “Psychomotor skills” is defined as the use of hands-on |

38 | 38 | | 8practicing and skills testing to support cognitive learning. A licensed teacher shall not be |

39 | 39 | | 9required to be a certified trainer of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to facilitate, provide or 2 of 2 |

40 | 40 | | 10oversee such instruction for non-certification. Courses which result in a certification being |
