1616 authorizing the town of Tewksbury to use a certain parcel of land for general recreational

2323 By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:–
2424 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 314 of the acts of 1993 is hereby amended by striking
2525 2out the words “the expansion of the town of Tewksbury baseball facilities” and inserting in place
2626 3thereof the following words:- general recreational purposes, including, but not limited to,
2727 4Tewksbury baseball facilities and other active and passive recreational activities.
2828 5 SECTION 2. Notwithstanding sections 32 to 37, inclusive, of chapter 7C of the General
2929 6Laws, section 2 of chapter 314 of the acts of 1993 or any other general or special law to the
3030 7contrary, the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance may amend the
3131 8restriction in a deed recorded in the Middlesex northern district registry of deeds in book 10054,
3232 9page 109 to allow the parcel of land described therein to be used for general recreational
3333 10purposes.
3434 11 SECTION 3. The town of Tewksbury shall be responsible for all costs and expenses of
3535 12any transaction authorized in this act as determined by the commissioner of capital asset
3636 13management and maintenance, including, but not limited to, the costs of any recording fees or
3737 14deed preparation.
