| 24 | 24 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 314 of the acts of 1993 is hereby amended by striking |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 2out the words “the expansion of the town of Tewksbury baseball facilities” and inserting in place |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 3thereof the following words:- general recreational purposes, including, but not limited to, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 4Tewksbury baseball facilities and other active and passive recreational activities. |

| 28 | 28 | | 5 SECTION 2. Notwithstanding sections 32 to 37, inclusive, of chapter 7C of the General |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 6Laws, section 2 of chapter 314 of the acts of 1993 or any other general or special law to the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 7contrary, the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance may amend the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 8restriction in a deed recorded in the Middlesex northern district registry of deeds in book 10054, |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 9page 109 to allow the parcel of land described therein to be used for general recreational |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 10purposes. |

| 34 | 34 | | 11 SECTION 3. The town of Tewksbury shall be responsible for all costs and expenses of |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 12any transaction authorized in this act as determined by the commissioner of capital asset |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 13management and maintenance, including, but not limited to, the costs of any recording fees or |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 14deed preparation. |
