8	8	By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:–
9	9	1 SECTION 1. Section 1-2 of the charter of the town of Marshfield, which is on file in the
10	10	2office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the
11	11	3General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen” and inserting
12	12	4in place thereof the following words:- select board.
13	13	5 SECTION 2. Section 2-4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words
14	14	6“Board of Selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the
15	15	7following words:- select board.
16	16	8 SECTION 3. Section 3-1 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words
17	17	9“board of selectmen” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- select board.
18	18	10 SECTION 4. Subsection 3-2-1 of section 3-2 of said charter is hereby amended by
19	19	11striking out the caption and inserting in place thereof the following caption:- Select Board.
20	20	12 SECTION 5. Said subsection 3-2-1 of said section 3-2 of said charter is hereby further
21	21	13amended by striking out the words “board of selectmen”, each time they appear, and inserting in
