1 Ordered, That the committee on Public Service be authorized to sit during a recess of the 
2General Court to make an investigation and study of House documents numbered 2427, 2431, 
32461, 2476, 2486, 2487, 2490, 2505, 2506, 2516, 2527, 2558, 2567, 2581, 2583, 2592, 2605, 
42610, 2616, 2634, 2643, 2661, 2671, 2672, 3648, 3837, 4014, 4177 and 4662, relative to cost of 
5living, retirement benefits and other related matters.
6 Said committee shall report to the General Court the results of its investigation and study 
7and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry such 
8recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the Clerk of the House of Representatives 
9on or before December 31, 2024.
