| 28 | 28 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 2special law to the contrary, the Worcester regional retirement board shall credit Nathan |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 3Hagglund, a member of the Worcester regional retirement system, with creditable service for his |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4part-time, per diem and on call service with the town of Leicester’s police, fire and emergency |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5medical services departments during the period of 1994 to 2001, inclusive, for the purpose of |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6determining his superannuation retirement allowance pursuant to said chapter 32. The board |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7shall confirm exact dates of Nathan Hagglund’s service and credit him with creditable service for |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 8the amount of actual time worked during this period in accordance with section 4 of said chapter |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 932 . |

| 39 | 39 | | 10 SECTION 2. Eligibility for the creditable service authorized in section 1 shall be |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | 11conditioned upon payment by Nathan Hagglund to the Worcester regional retirement system, in |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 12an amount equal to that which would have been withheld as regular deductions from his regular 2 of 2 |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | 13compensation for such previous service, in 1 lump sum or installments, as the Worcester regional |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | 14retirement board shall prescribe. |

| 44 | 44 | | 15 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
